1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. OMAE also uses browser memory, session storage and temporary IndexedDB records for specific application flows. This policy covers those technologies as well as cookies.
2. Authentication and security
Clerk uses cookies and related browser mechanisms to sign you in, maintain your session and protect authentication. Their names and lifetimes depend on the authentication configuration and provider. Blocking these necessary technologies may prevent sign-in or account functions.
3. Room drafts, checkout and notifications
An unsigned-in room draft normally stays in the current tab’s memory. When you choose an external sign-in method, a temporary IndexedDB handoff can preserve the photos and settings across the redirect. It expires after one hour and is removed when consumed or during a later cleanup. Its tab marker is stored in session storage.
Checkout uses session storage to preserve the purchase journey and recover a return or interrupted response. Stripe may use necessary payment and fraud-prevention technologies. Notification choices are saved to your account. A service worker supports browser alerts; OMAE does not use it to cache private photographs or intercept their requests.
4. Analytics and advertising
The current application does not include an optional advertising or analytics tracker. This is not a promise that infrastructure providers collect no necessary operational data. If optional tracking is added, this policy and the consent controls must be updated before it is enabled where consent is required.
5. Your controls
You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing necessary storage may sign you out or lose an unfinished draft or checkout return. Browser notification permission is managed separately in the browser or device settings; result-email preferences are managed inside OMAE.
